About Lux Mundi
The mission of Lux Mundi is to regionally connect and support Catholic families in faith and fellowship. We hold very serious and true the Catholic teaching on subsidarity - the concept that decisions should be governed by the lowest/smallest level possible, with higher/larger levels intervening only when necessary. We believe that the family is the building block of our society, and that if our families (the smallest/lowest level) are healthy and thriving, so follow our local communities, our states, our nations, and our world. And this began the origin of the name, Lux Mundi, meaning "Light of the World." (Mt 5:14) If our families are thriving, we will naturally become the light to the world that Christ has called us to be.

At our heart is the Catholic teaching, also, that parents are the primary educators for their children, and should be not only trusted with this responsibility, but greatly supported. Our mission is to provide community events, both large and small that offer support and enrichment opportunities for families striving to live out their Catholic faith in their everyday lives.

We are loyal to the Magesterium through Pope Francis, and are devoted to honoring and upholding the Catholic Church and Her teachings and traditions.
